We had so much fun doing this as a Girl Scout Troop years ago that we'd like to try it again!
9am: Leave Jersey City by PATH to lower Manhattan, where we will then walk to Jing Fong Restaurant (20 Elizabeth St.)
10am: Traditional Dim Sum brunch at Jing Fong.
Dim sum is a Cantonese style of steamed dumpling prepared in small, almost bite-sized portions. various types of
steamed buns, rice noodle rolls, and dumplings, all of which will include a range of fillings and ingredients from pork to
prawns and chicken to vegetables - all served off of carts that diners flag down as they pass by.
11am: Stake out a spot to see the parade (probably at corner of Mosco & Mott St.)
and explore area in small groups - to get snacks; and snaps and confetti to play with.
1pm: Watch parade
3pm: Walk to PATH to return to Jersey City
4pm: Return home

- Other parents, siblings or friends: $10 each for brunch
